Becoming a Member of NCSPP
Membership is held by schools and programs rather than
by individuals. There are several levels of membership:
Full Membership is held by institutions
organized as a doctoral level professional school or program of psychology
accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). Dues are $1,350.00
per year.
Associate Membership is held by institutions
organized as a doctoral level professional school or program of psychology
with either provisional or full accreditation
by a regional accrediting body recognized by the Council on Regional Post
Secondary Accreditation (CORPA),
but not currently accredited by APA. Dues are $1,350.00 per year.
Observer status is held by institutions
that do not qualify for either category of membership and are in the process
of developing an APA or regionally accredited
doctoral level school or program in professional psychology. Dues are $475.00
per year.
Member, Associate Member, and Observer schools
select delegates to attend meetings on their behalf.
To apply for membership
The NCSPP application form can be accessed by clicking

fee is $50.
Completed applications are reviewed by the Membership
Committee at the next NCSPP Membership Meeting. These meeting are held in
January and August of each year. Upon review, the committee provides recommendations
to the Council at its membership meeting where an applicant institution may
